What is illidans weapon

Comment by Calling Illidan a hunter is rediculous, considering night elf demon hunters have nothing to do with the hunter as a WoW class. A demon hunter is a night elf who has made a pact with the forces of chaos, gaining the ability to use shadow magic in order to use the demon's power against them, but at a cost.

The demon hunters ritually blind themselves which is why they always have blindfolds on in order to be able to see demons and undead creatures better. In addition, they are generally shunned form society because of their pact with chaos, despite the fact that they are some of the most able defenders of the night elves.

The closest comparison, in my opinion the evasion ability and the fact they are dual-weilding swords aside , is the warlock. The immolation ability, the mana drain ability now a priest ability, but it is still shadow magic , and the fact that they can turn into a demon should be evidence enough that they are more warlock than hunter.

Comment by The abilities of a Demon Hunter are not bestowed upon them by demons. Sargeras burned out Illidan's eyes and covered his body with a variety of paterns that granted him magical ability. Other demon hunters who were inspired by Illidan's example, although they were forced to find a different source of power because they could not get it from Sargeras as Illidan did are required to undergo a series of rituals that results in the demon hunter capturing and sacrificing a demon and binding a portion of its soul to his own, granting him his powers, and does not get his powers bestowed upon him by the demon.

Comment by OK did we all forget that illidan consumed the skull of guldan AND the eye of sargarus?? Those two things gave him his "Demonhunter" abilitys. The skull of guldan turned him evil though he wasn't exactly a saint. Just to clear up some slight misunderstanding. If a warrior was useing these i think i would have to stab him in the foot. Comment by these aren't terribly overpowered they almost dont make them seem as insane as they shouldd.

Comment by neither the Eye of Sargeras nor the Skull of Gul'dan gave Illidan his demonhunter abilities, they were granted to him by Sargeras, who blinded him and gave him power over shadow magic. The latter would attain it, and then use it in a failed attempt to destroy the Frozen Throne. I should say that the "eyes of Sargeras" are that which give Illidan his ability to manipulate magic to such an extent, not necessarily that he has power of shadow magic.

Demonic magic, surely, but not shadow magic. However, the Skull of Gul'dan's powers were indeed absorbed. They are what I suspect that which gave Illidan the ability to become half-demon, half-elf in a Metamorphosis. Comment by Im salivating of having if ever my Death Knight wield this even if I have to go back to BT on way to Having said that, wouldnt a Demon Hunter heroic class be attractive also?

In any case this is a really great set for those who can get their hands on it, very slow MH and very fast OH makes this combination very deadly indeed. Comment by pieandcows2 Ok can some one just tell everyone that illidan wasn't really all powerful like a god cause the way people talk about him it's like he could blow up the whole azeroth..

Comment by Sxela OK -regarding his eyes, Sargeras burned them out when Illidan was communicating with him through a portal made by the highborne in Azshara. This was part of Illidan gaining his powers. Illidan had hoped to trick Sargeras and gain powers to use against him, but Sargeras made him pay with his eyes as a sign of loyalty.

He was in training to become a mage when all this happened, so his casting powers were increased. Comparing him to a rogue or a hunter is slightly inaccurate. Comment by why is there so much off topic stuff about something that onlt 1 in every warriors will ever see ingame? Comment by uhohzombies The proc rate has been found to be roughly. As stated above, the proc effect looks like activating Slice and Dice.

Estimated AEP value of and the general feeling is my damage has increased by about the same margin as having an extra Dragonspine Trophy. Also, unfortunately, as of patch 2. Comment by Lluks wow they are a very nice pair of weapons Comment by I'm not going to weigh in on what class Illidan most closely resembles. Explore Wikis Community Central. Combined stats. Comment by haste rating does stack so if u have a d3 rogue asssination set equiped with slice and dice on and Abacus of Violent Odd and dragon spine trophy and this two blades on your attack speed would become retardedly low.. I wonder what would happen with 2 haste trinkets , Abacus of Violent Odds dragonspine trophy , the twin blades and the assassination d3 rogue set on and everything proc while u use slice and dice, toss in mongoose enchant and blade flurry for combat sword rogue specced with windfury on the weapons AND berserking Comment by Endersion Hmm so no one knows or has any idea whatsoever as to how either of these weapons could be obtained?

Comment by 10rdBen According to WoWinsider, this item has just droppped for a world first - read it here Comment by Oh Oh Oh i think. Illidan glaives changes when he consume gul'dan skull thats why. So sorry for that half-false information. Comment by As a Hemo Rogue I am very sad to say this is the only weapon that is slower than 2.

We really don't see much slow weapons anymore like in the oldies remember the High Warlord's Blade 2,9 speed imba Hemo sword. Nowerdays this is the one, and for most of the rogues impossible to get. Comment by besaba in response to hesa, there is one other 2. Comment by Is this sword fight only or can you use it in the outside world? Comment by The guild Forte currently has two of the MH warglaives. The first one is with Celalia, the second is on their warrior Anise.

Comment by Darksbane Furi of Blood Legion US Illidan Server obtained both the main hand and the offhand on August 1st, , which made him the first person in the world to complete the set.

He had gotten the main hand sometime before that. Comment by seriously, who in their right mind would even come across the thought of disenchanting this Comment by VoidDragon Demon hunters aren't actual hunters at all. They're 'hunters' in the same sense that a paladin hunts undead. They're more like a magical rogue, in a sense. They melee and become more demonic as they grow stronger. Illidan himself was more like a mage before everything else.

If they do ever bring the Demon Hunter class to WoW, you'll never touch a bow, come close to having a pet, or even track anything other than demons.

If you really want to know about Illidan, read the War of the Ancients Trilogy. Comment by wow so far 2 blades has dropped for Forte guild?!? I am referring to the picture. Comment by beretta As someone who has a hand of Ragnaros, I just want to say I do not think this weapon should be of Legendary Orange quality.

The Hand of Rag, Staff of Ateish, and the Thunderfury sword all take a tremendous amount of resources to create, which must be built up over a long period of time. This, though a rare drop This sword is like Hand of Rag dropping instead of the eye of sulfuras But with other legendaries, you needed multiple, extremely rare items to drop eye of sulfuras, 8 sulfuron ingots anyone? Nothing more to it then a random boss drop, just a lower drop rate. Dunno, just stating my opinion, if it isnt diffucult to get, just a random boss drop and takes nothing to make it, no time invested to craft it, it shouldnt be a legendary.

Comment by well in my opinion the colour of the weapon doesn't matter. Illidan is a famous wow character and a important person in the wow history, so were Ragnaros, Thunderan and kel'thuzad. Comment by Lesane Has an internal cooldown of 45s on the 2. Comment by darkyoshi87 Any Warriors have this yet? Comment by InfinityX No, the animations perform just as if you were holding a sword. It still looks good on the vast majority of races. Comment by Did anyone notice that the panda emblem on them is missing?

I remember in Warcraft 3, these had panda heads on them. Comment by NeoBlackheart I have both of these on my rogue and when I have everthing proced and done I actually looked at the speedx is around 1.

Comment by Could really use a warrior screenshot. These weapons arent just for rogues.. Comment by Coldkil tbh, they remain the most powerful weapons for rogues also with new 2. Comment by Affje Is it then possible that both of the warglaives drop at once? We have killed Illidan 11 times by now, no Warglaive :. Classic Vanilla The Frozen Throne Reforged.
